Good evening rockin' readers! I'm sorta home alone right now. Hmm ... I call myself home alone when my parents are off to somewhere. So ... today was a very awesome day. Had Choir Competition in school just now! Oh yea, have I ever mentioned that my class went to the finals? Yeah we did! We seriously did well but the microphones sucked.

We donate so much money every year, can't you take a small chuck out of it and work on improving the sucky sound system?

Totally agree with what she said. If the sound system was good, the judges could here our a little bit of accapella and the boys' part wouldn't be like completely ignored. I, being the entire choir group's piano accompanist, was so friggin' scared that I would make a small slip and walaa, the whole group would blame on me. Fortunately, I played the song very fluently without a single mistake. Pheww... But according to ChunMeng, he saw my legs shivering. May be so, may be not. Maybe he saw me shivering but I was literally stepping on the pedals? Oh whatever. Okay and we got a first runner up! Woooosh. Trust me, seniors were really good. Some of them beat boxed, and their voices were like angelsss! Admires... I'll upload the video to blogger when the video is uploaded in Facebook by YeeFun.

There was this ABRSM instrumental competition just now too. Jie Xi took part in the Grade 1-6 competition. She played a piano Sonata piece by Kholler. And taddaaaaa, she got a 1st runner up too! Yay Yay! She rocks :D

Hmm ... what more to say eh? Oh yea, on Thursday, I watched a very old movie called 'Clueless' in channel HBO. Look at the poster. Stare at the girl with messy hair. Looks familiar? No? Booh its Brittany Murphy! I didn't know it was her at first! She seriously looked different. Sighs, rest in peace, Murphy ): Love this movie a lot. And and, I like Alicia's surname -- Silverstone! Silver stone?

Yesterday during 2nd recess, when Hubby, House-Elf, Son and I were going to the canteen, KCN editorial members from Senior 1A came up with an 'urgent' word on their faces. Mei Xian Editor said 'Fast! Meeting now! Emergency! Get Zhi Yi and Gabriel! I want them to be here!'. WTH. I was suffering in hunger! We discussed about the full name of the theme and its 'Emotions-Revolution'. I voted for 'Emotions-To Infinity and Beyond', though. And we also thought of the front cover. Black, starry and emoticons all over. Kinda kiddy I would say. Suddenly, Mei Xian said 'Zhi Yi, Min Xian and Wen Thong, hand in a non-factual article by today. Before 12am.' Seriously! I was going to yell already! I'm a busy woman here okay? I gave them a very innocent and filled-with-hatred face, but she still didn't change her mind. Screw it.

After the meeting was dismissed, me and Hubby ran to the toilet as my bladder was already 'unbearable'. Mei Xian shouted again 'Stop! Come baaaaack! Yi Ling, I want you to write a non-factual article. Since you're new here, I allow you to write a one-page length article. You, Wen Thong, write a factual article. It is a must, to be in two pages. Okay, off you go to the WC!'

Hubby was screaming so loudly in her heart that I could hear it. I had to stay back yesterday for the choir practice. And I had to go for yoga class as well. So I decided to skip yoga class and got busy with my article. I wrote about 'Peculiar Buildings of the World'. Good thing I managed to hand in before 10pm! Sighs. Hubby called me and I gave her some idea on her article. An abandoned filthy little kid and blablabla entitled 'I ... Survived'. Oh the good news is, this is my last article to be handed in to KCN this year! Yay! It may be published by next next week. I hope it will be better than the 1st issue.
